The closest airports to Dhikala Forest Rest House are the Pantnagar Airport and the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. From Pantnagar, the rest house is approximately a 3 to 4-hour drive away. Meanwhile, the Delhi airport is about a 6 to 7-hour drive, making it a viable option for those looking to embark on a longer road journey.
By Rail :-Railway Stations
For those opting for the railway route, the Ramnagar Railway Station is the most convenient option. Situated just around 15 kilometers away from Dhikala, this station serves as a vital gateway to the national park. From Ramnagar, you can continue your journey via road, either through private vehicles or arranged transport, to reach Dhikala Forest Rest House.

If you’re starting from Delhi, follow the Delhi-Hapur-Moradabad-Ramnagar route. From there, the Dhangari Gate of Jim Corbett National Park marks the entry point to the Dhikala Zone.
Inside the National Park :- Safari Transfers
After reaching the designated entry point, you will be transferred to your accommodation within the Dhikala Zone via a designated safari vehicle. This journey in itself is a mini-safari, allowing you to catch glimpses of wildlife and soak in the enchanting surroundings before arriving at the Dhikala Forest Rest House.

Food Options at Dhikala Forest Rest House
Within the boundaries of Dhikala Forest Guest House, there are two restaurants. While on the premises, buffet meals will be available to you. The food is also of exceptional quality. The KMVN manages one of the canteens. Good food can be found in Uttarakhand Tourist Department’s Canteen (KMVN) for a reasonable price. The other establishment has an a la carte menu and is privately owned. There is also a general store where you can purchase items for everyday use. However, there are only vegetarian food options. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food items are prohibited.
Itinerary
The gypsy is going to pick you up early in the morning from Ramnagar and take you to the Dhangarhi Entrance gate for Dhikala Night Stay. After completing the necessary paperwork, proceed to Dhikala Forest Lodge. Check-in for Dhikala accommodations is permitted till 12:00 AM. Lunch is available at KMVN Canteen. Prepare for the Evening jeep safari. Once the jeep safari is over, head back to Forest Lodge. Dinner at the KMVN canteen and Overnight Stay at Dhikala Forest Lodge.
Early start for a morning jeep safari in Corbett National Park’s Dhikala grasslands. Move through Dhangari gate to leave the jungle after breakfast. Visit Crocodile Point and High Bank en route. Deliver to Ramnagar. Leave the Corbett National Park tour with pleasant memories.

Frequently Asked Questions
The best time to visit is during the months of 15 November to 15 June when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are abundant.
Only from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM may one enter the Dhagari gate, which is the main gate. Entry will not be permitted after 4:00 PM, and reservations will be canceled without a refund.
During their stay, visitors can eat at the on-site restaurant, Except Sarpduli & Sultan Forest Rest House.
There are no TVs, Air Conditioners and Electric Kettle in any of the Dhikala Forest Rest House’s rooms. Although there are electrical outlets in the rooms for your phones and cameras. There are Ceiling Fan & There are solar geysers, you will get hot water there.
Private vehicles are not allowed within the core area of the forest. You can reach the lodge via designated vehicles provided by the Tour Operators.
